Monovision Cataract Treatment in Raleigh-Durham

Monovision allows one eye to be corrected for distance and the other eye for near vision. The brain does need to adapt to this type of vision, therefore only individuals who have successfully tried this with contact lenses are candidates for this procedure for cataract surgery. Additionally, astigmatism reduction through an additional procedure at the time of cataract surgery may be recommended for sharper vision.
